The Association for Rural Education Policy and Practice will hold its National Conference on December 5, 2009 in the beautiful historic Castle Hills Resort in Oxford, Mississippi. If you have not visited a bed and breakfast from the antebellum south, you owe it to yourself to attend this conference. This one day conference is designed for professors, school and college administrators who have initiated successful changes in their environment. Teachers, counselors, doctoral students, and other educational practitioners who have implemented successful changes are invited to submit proposals. Our theme for the conference is: Doing Something Different: Creating Change in Rural Education. All proceedings will be published in one of our rural education journals.
